A key player in Ballantine’s, this Moray coast distillery is rarely seen in single malt guise. A slightly younger bottling under the same label received a strong review from Jim Murray (92.5 points). Also from a refill Bourbon barrel, this triple-decader was distilled in 1998 and released under the Connoisseur's Choice label. These selections come from unique barrels and invite you to travel through the most beautiful distilleries in Scotland. Cask #1083 yielded just 134 bottles at natural strength. G&M describe aromas and flavours of lime and mango, leading into dried tobacco, mature oak and lingering citrus. 53.8% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered. Very limited stocks.
