1986 Glen Moray Port Wood Finish Limited Edition 25 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Now discontinued, this grandfather malt spent most of its long 25 year maturation in ex-bourbon casks before being finished in x Portuguese port pipes. Less than 3,500 bottles were produced for the '86 vintage.

Other reviews… [1988 vintage tasted…] Floral, perfumed, and very enticing on the nose. Vanilla fudge, cocktail cherries, polished oak, and gentle spices. Soft and sweet on the palate, with vanilla, overripe orange, cinnamon, and milky coffee. Long and slightly peppery on the finish, with persistent drying fruitiness. Complex and extremely accomplished. 43% Alc./Vol. 93 points
