A near 45 year old Clynelish from independents, Gordon & MacPhail for their "Rare Old" series. Distilled in 1972 and bottled in 2016 at 42.2%. Reportedly only 267 bottles of this this precious Highland malt have been filled. One only to sell.
The bottlers say to expect aromas and flavours of sweet fruit cake, golden syrup, a trace of smoke, stewed fruits and charry oak.
