1966 Wynns Coonawarra Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

A wine of good colour, a deep crimson red with amber highlights. A rich, fresh bouquet of sweet earthy black fruit, mocha chocolate and hints of anise. A densely flavoured wine, fruit driven with a herbal edge. Fine grained tannins just begin to dominate, but in the main are balanced by the excellent fruit sweetness. The finish is clean, firm and long.
