Tasting note: Matured in a Bourbon cask. Brassy gold. Enormous malt that opens gradually; whiffs of wine-soaked pears and chocolate box over drier scents of fresh sawn oak and iced tea. Massive attack: Dense cocoa followed by a superb tropical burst (passionfruit / mango?). Bittersweet and achingly intense towards the finish. Orange spice cake, tropical fruits and pepper heat in the aftertaste. Impressive. 60% Alc./Vol. Extremely limited stocks.
