Nant Sherry Wood Single Cask Single Malt Australian Whisky (500ml) - Cask Strength 63%

Located in the highlands of Central Tasmania, Nant use only 100% Tasmanian brewer’s barley, with the Estate currently providing approximately one-third of its own barley needs. Recently re-packaged, their whiskies under the 'Single Cask' collection are bottled at 63% Alc./vol.

This release was matured in an American oak sherry cask bottled at cask strength with no chill filtration or colouring added.

Tasting note: Polished copper colour showing nice legs down the sides of the glass. A densely packed sherried sniff evolves with layers of Christmas pudding, raisins, sticky date and weighty vanillas becoming almost fine brandy-like in the later stages. Viscous entry is mildly bittersweet. Leads into an intense attack with flavours of fruit cake, dates and creamy vanilla at the finish. Bold but impressively balanced, this coats every crevice of the mouth. Nant reveals its wild side! 63% Alc./Vol.
