Muirheads Silver Seal 8 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

The Muirhead’s whisky brand was created in 1824 by Charles Muirhead, one of the founding members of Macdonald and Muir Ltd. Now owned by the bottlers of 'Highland Queen', the whiskies are now distributed in over 20 countries.

Tasting note: Brilliant gold colour. Moderate aromas include notes of barley, vanilla, caramel, dusty oak and a trace of peat. Clean, light to medium bodied palate is medium dry with gently spicy malt and vanilla flavours and again a hint of peat on the finish. Very soft, silky mouthfeel. Concludes light and dry with a toasty cereal aftertaste. Straightforward, easy drinking. 40% Alc./vol.
