Milford 10 Year Old Single Malt Whisky (200ml)

A New Zealand Whisky from the Willowbank Distillery in Dunedin on the South Island. This distillery closed its door in 1999. The 10 Year Old expression has been compared to malts from the Scottish Lowlands.

Tasting note: Brilliant gold colour. Aromas include straw / cut grass scents of moderate intensity with a lanolin note developing after time in the glass - reminiscent of a wool shed but not in a disagreeable way. Concentrated entry is semi sweet and very spicy but with little to discern in terms of flavours besides some dry, woody notes and subtle cereals. Finishes woody, firm, dry and slightly metallic. 43% Alc./Vol.
