Ledaig 19 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

There was a cask strength 19 year old Ledaig on the market a few years back, followed by a Marsala wood finish. Both received strong reviews from the likes of Whisky Advocate and Jim Murray. The latest incarnation arrives with a finishing in sherry casks. Filled into barrels in the summer of 1998 and matured for almost six years before being transferred to Oloroso Sherry casks in the summer of 2004 for a further 13 years. Expect a Ledaig with aromas and flavours of sweet dried fruit, rich oak, subtle spice and a black pepper, peated character. 30-40ppm phenols. Non chill filtered. 46.3% Alc./Vol.
