Inverarity Ancestral 14 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Inverarity Vaults Ltd are dedicated to sourcing, supplying and delivering fine wines and spirits from around the world to hoteliers and restaurateurs in the U.K. This is one of their own bottlings, an award winning 14 year old 100% Sherry matured single malt that's just landed in Australia.

Tasting note: Bright gold appearance. The bouquet is soft and semi sweet with attractive scents in the sweet spice / stewed fruit spectrum (apple, pear, clove). There’s a pardonable trace of sulphur, followed by toasty cereals, hints of dark chocolate and dried coconut. A very appealing breakfast muesli bar kind of sniff. The soft, supple palate delivers medium dry, pear / apple flavours with a touch of coconut. Finishes clean, dry and mildly fruity, though a little short. Altogether, a delicious Sherried whisky with similarities to Glenfiddich’s highly sought after (and now sold out) Snow Phoenix release. 40% Alc./Vol.
