Tasting note: Distilled from wash produced at Moobrew brewery, matured in a re-coopered Hungarian oak Tokaji cask for three and a half years, then cut back with Tassie water to near 50% ABV. The nose builds with peachy, bourbon-like aromas, as well as hints of dried banana and ccream sponge cake. An underlying dryness and spice adds freshness. Typical for this distillery, there's a degree of harmony at a relatively early age despite the high strength. Bittersweet and spicy, becoming oily and thicker through the middle stages ending bourbony, lingering with pepper heat, gobstopper and peachy fruitiness. 49.8% Alc./Vol.
