Glengoyne 12 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

First released September 2004, this is another welcome addition to the Glengoyne stable. Distilled from air-dried barley without peat smoke, and using the soft, pure local water, this whisky is bottled unchill-filtered at cask strength to preserve its natural flavours.

Tasting note: Nose: the sulphur that has been mentioned in previous bottlings of this has returned but in such tiny amounts it doesn't detract from the enjoyment...yet. Need to keep an eye open that it doesn't get any worse, though, as it would be a shame to see quite a lovely whisky undermined. 57.2% Alc./Vol. Rating: 88 points.
