Glencadam 21 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Highlands, SCOTLAND
$230. 00
Bottle
$2760.00 Dozen
ABV: 46%
Tasting note: Bright straw gold / flawless clarity. Quite sedate at first; several minutes exposes pure though muted scents of orchard fruits and water biscuit and doesn't really budge after five minutes in the glass. Immediately impresses in the mouth with a creamy, silky, juicy, fresh fruit and spice combination. Perfect balance with hints of barley sugar before the firm, drying oak finish. Charming malt, if a little short. 46% Alc./Vol.

Other reviews... Attractive, 18-carat gold appearance that’s unblemished by sediment. Opening nosings are treated to dry, slightly spicy aromas of poppy seed, sawdust, oak plank, toasted bread; secondary inhalations get beeswax, sap, oak resins. Entry is succulent, charmingly viscous, spicy, spirit, warming, medium toasty; midpalate features deep, oaky flavors that are resiny, sappy, complex, lasting far into the aftertaste where the ultra-creamy texture reigns supreme. 4 Stars. Highly Recommended. - Spirit Journal March 2015
