Frasers Reserve Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Selected and bottled by Strathnairn Whisky Ltd., and released by independent bottlers, Gordon & Macphail, comes this Islay bottling from a mystery distillery. Caol Ila or a young Laphroaig perhaps?

Tasting note: Pale straw / gold appearance. Lifted aroma presents brine, betadine and hints of seaweed over sweet vanilla and malt. The palate is semi sweet, soft, round and creamy in texture with nicely integrated flavours of vanilla, malt and lanolin; a little broad, but enlivened by a short short surge of salt and spice towards the finish. Slightly oily and dry lanolin and oatmeal fade. Very pleasant easy drinking Islay. 43% Alc./Vol.
