New Stargazer Release - From Coal River to the Cosmos

Few producers capture Tasmania's calm precision quite like Stargazer. Established by Samantha Connew in 2012, the label has steadily evolved from a personal project into one of the island's benchmark small estates. From her own Palisander vineyard in the Coal River Valley, augmented by select parcels from the Coal River and Derwent Valleys, Sam crafts wines that speak clearly of their cool origins: taut, textural and finely detailed.

Across these new releases there's a palpable sense of refinement and restraint. The Chardonnay shows the tension and drive of the region's best examples; the Rieslings balance crystalline fruit with mineral depth; and the Pinot Noir continues to underline just how complete this site has become. Even the playful Tupelo blend remains as compelling as ever, textural, aromatic and effortlessly drinkable.

These are wines that reward attention yet remain immediately engaging, modern Tasmanian classics in the making.
