Auchentoshan is located in Clydebank, in the heart of the Lowlands whisky region. Triple distilled, the style is generally lighter than its northern counterparts. In simple terms, they're dangerously drinkable offering the devoted whisky drinker a 'go to' malt for warmer weather and the gift buyer an sensible choice when unsure about someone's whisky preferences. This release from independent bottlers, Cadenheads, is limited to only 672 bottles. It was matured in ex bourbon hogsheads.

Tasting note: Pale straw gold. Floral, grassy opening evolves to enticing scents of poached pear and sweet spice. The delicacy and purity of the nose carries through to the light to medium bodied cereal, vanilla and pepper accented profile, fruity at the finish, ending light, gently warming and mildly fruity into the fade.
