Blossa Glogg Mulled Wine
Glogg means heated wine and is the main traditional Christmas drink in Sweden. For many years, the Swedes have spiced and heated wine during long and cold winters. Recipes vary, however, the Glogg has always been based on certain spices, sugar and wine.
This version is produced according to a recipe from the 1880's and has now become the standard for the real Glogg taste. A hot red wine base is used with ginger, cardoman, clove and other spices; aquavit is added and finally the drink is topped up with almonds and raisins. 10% alc./vol.
