Tasting notes: Brilliant pale gold. Sublime as usual; salted rice cracker, sticky date pudding then poached pear, creamy vanilla and later apply freshness plus more besides. Like feathers brushing against the taste buds as sooty vanilla and delicate spices are delivered in a juicy mid palate burst. Finely tuned finish offers oatmeal biscuit, light coconut, beeswax and is fresh, ultra-pure and long. Ripe fruit notes rebound in the fade. Beautifully textured. Best Liddesdale to date? 46% Alc./Vol.
