- Cellar Drink Now - 3 years (2020-2023)
- ABV 14%
- Closure: Stelvin
Bright pale straw colour with faint tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of ripe pear, red apple and honeysuckle fill the nostrils trailed by some quince and light spice. Rich and mouthfilling, the palate is layered with ripe pear, red apple and honeysuckle flavours which have a luscious textural feel. Infusions of musk and spice lie underneath. Finishes medium dry with a hint of residual sweetness. Good fresh acidity with an aftertaste that’s long, full and generous.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.

Other Reviews….
This is an exceptional gris, a harbinger of a style that is increasingly versatile at the table and reflective of this country's more sophisticated dining culture, both in the restaurant and at home. These mid-weighted highly textural wines are founded, too, in greater winemaking expertise: ambient yeast and neutral wood. After all, gris does not need too much embellishment, but the confidence to allow baked autumnal fruit notes to ease across a peddle of gentle phenolics. This does so in style. Drink by 2025.
