2018 Domaine de Bellene Hommage a Francoise Potel Beaune Premier Cru Vieilles Vignes

Very deep dark red at its core with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. A mixture of red and sour cherry fruits infused with fresh herbs greets the nostrils. Some stalky notes, light dusty cedar and spice ensue. Light in body the palate features bright red cherry and red currant fruits over a back drop of light earth, infusions of fresh herbs, stalky cedar and spice. Sturdy tannins and fresh acidity provide the framework. Finishes slightly rustic and elegant.
