2017 Tomich Adelaide Hills Single Vineyard Chardonnay

This wine underwent partial malolactic ferment and was matured in French oak barriques. Bright straw colour with a watery hue. Lifted ripe peach aromas tinged with a hint of apricot and honeycomb emerge from the glass followed by light butterscotch and citrusy nougat notes. Medium bodied, there’s ample richness to the ripe peach, subtle apricot and honeycomb flavours which meld into nougat and spicy citrus characters. Well rounded with a slightly creamy mouthfeel, sufficient acidity and a medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
