Outside of Champagne, Bouvet is the most awarded Sparkling Wine House in France, garnering praise from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, Decanter Magazine and others.
After many years of ownership by Champagne Taittinger, Bouvet Ladubay is once again fully owned by the Monmousseau family who have continuously run the business since their purchase in 1932. Bouvet Ladubay employs precisely the same wine making process as Grand Marque Champagne, delivering French sophistication at an everyday price.

A blend of Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay, this always delicious sparkling with its slightly creamy texture is bang on the money yet again in 2017.

A fine satiny mousse holds well over a pale straw coloured base that has shades of pale gold around the edges. Flowing through the core is an exceptionally fine bead that shows great persistence. Sailing out of the glass with good intensity is an array of pear, green apple, yeast lees, subtle toast and citrus aromas. Very flavoursome, vibrant and mouth watering the palate is filled with pear and baked apple fruits which marry into bready lees characters, citrus and faint quince. Finishes dry with refreshing acidity and a long cream tinged aftertaste. At still only $20 it will impress any party crowd.
