2017 Balgownie Black Label Cabernet Franc & Syrah

Produced from Cabernet Franc co-fermented with a small portion of Syrah. Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of spicy red and black currants intermix with traces of liquorice, dried herbs, earthy cedar and spice. Elegant and medium bodied the palate has spicy flavours of red to black currant, plum, dried herbs and earthy cedar. Dry, firmish tannins, relatively bright acidity and a medium length aftertaste.
Cellar 4-5 years.
