2015 Vina Cobos Bramare Valle du Uco Malbec

Malbec is grown throughout Mendoza, with the Uco Valley in the south including the sub districts of Tupungato and La Consulta, two new hot spots for cooler climate Malbec. Bramare (brah-MAH-reh) is an Italian word meaning "to yearn for", and pays tribute to the heritage of the Marchiori family.

Impenetrable pitch black core with a very deep dark purple black tinged hue. Powerful dark plum, black cherry, liquorice and dark chocolate aromas surge from the glass with toasty vanillin cedar and spice ensuing. Lavish black cherry and rich blackcurrant flavours flood the weight palate underscored by liquorice, vanillin cedar, faint earth and spice. Opulent textural feel with robust yet seemingly velvet like tannins supporting the fruit. Long persistent finish of blackcurrant, black cherry, liquorice, faint earth and spicy vanillin cedar.
