2015 Roaring Meg Pinot Noir

Matured for 9 months in French oak. Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright crimson hue. Lifted violet and ripe dark cherry aromas meld into some strawberry and anise followed by meaty cedar and spice. Light but possessing good power the palate has ripe dark cherry and strawberry flavours over a back drop of anise, subtle dried meats and spicy cedar. Finishes with bright acidity, finely grained yet slightly dryish tannins and a long aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, strawberries, anise, dried meats and spicy cedar.
Cellar 5-6 years.
