2015 Nicosia Vulka Etna Rosso

Produced from 80% Nerello Mascalese and 20% Nerello Cappuccio grapes. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Lifted scents of ripe dark and Morello cherries intermix with smoked meats, leather and spicy dried herbs. Light in body with a leanish mid palate and plenty of fresh acidity on the dry finish. Elegant flavours of red, dark and sour cherries meld into subtle earth and spicy dried herb characters. Slightly chalky tannins with a shortish aftertaste of red, dark and sour cherries, some earth and spicy herbs.
