2015 Dr Loosen Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Kabinett

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and watery hue. The nose shows good intensity with top notes of red apples and lime juice infused with honeysuckle followed by hints of quince, orange blossom and slatey mineral characters. A touch more concentrated than the Bernkasteler Lay the palate features fresh red apple and lime flavours that converge with honeysuckle over some subtle quince and mineral infusions. Off dry finish with a lively bite of acidity. Medium to long conclusion of red apples, lime, honeysuckle and citrusy mineral.
Drink now or cellar 6-8 years.
