2015 Clyde Park Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a crimson red hue. Attractively scented the nose reveals perfumed aromatics of violets, dark cherries and strawberries with a light overlay of anise followed by some meatiness and spicy cedar. Light in weight but possessing good power the palate has a savoury flavour profile of spicy dark cherries and strawberries over some dried meats and subtlety toasted cedar. Supple mouthfeel with very finely grained well integrated tannins. Long aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, strawberries, meaty characters and lightly toasted cedar.
Cellar 5-6 years.
