2013 Domaine de la Vougeraie Terres de Famille Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark cherry red colour with a crimson red hue. Fragrant ripe dark cherry and strawberry aromas emerge from the glass followed by hints of violets, some light gamey earth like characters and spicy cedar. On the lighter side the palate is very elegant and features flavours of red cherries with traces of sour cherry and strawberry also evident over a background of dusty cedar, a light meatiness and spice. Dry finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of red and sour cherries, some meaty earth like characters and spicy cedar.
