2013 Chateau Thivin Les Sept Vignes Cote de Brouilly Beaujolais

Deep dark red black tinged colour with a bright crimson purple hue. The nose offers up aromas of dark cherries intermixed with more subtle scorched earth and faint clove characters followed by some spice end notes. Light weight and elegant the palate has flavours of dark cherries intermeshed with clove, earth and spice. It finishes dry with slightly chalky tannins that give the wine its structure. Aftertaste of dark cherries, subtle clove and spicy earth.
