2013 Bindi Pyrette Heathcote Shiraz

Matured for 12 months in French oak. Opaque black purple colour with a bright dark purple hue. The nose exhibits youthful freshly crushed berry scents including blackberries and dark cherries overlaid by some inky meaty characters with hints of liquorice and spicy vanillin cedar following. Medium bodied the palate features savoury flavours of fresh dark cherries and blackberries followed by some liquorice, meatiness and spicy cedar. Elegant mouthfeel with very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, blackberries, subtle liquorice, meatiness and spicy vanillin cedar.
