2011 Kientzler Gewurztraminer

The Kientzler domaine is a small family-run estate consisting of just 12 hectares of vines, of which 3.7 hectares are classified Grand Cru. Bright pale straw colour with watery hue. Nosing reveals an aromatic profile of lychee intermixed with some musk followed by some tropical fruit and a hint of spice as an end note. Rich lusciously textured palate with mouthfilling flavours of lychee and very ripe pear followed by some musk with a very spicy back palate.Clean medium dry finish with some residual sugar present. Long lychee and spicy musk aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2013-2016).
