2011 Escarpment Pahi Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with light crimson hue. Perfumed ripe dark cherry aromas are intermixed with violet scents followed by some ripe dark strawberry, a touch of anise and spicy cedar. Light to medium weight the palate possesses elegant flavours of ripe dark cherries and anise followed by a touch of meatiness and spicy cedar. Fine grained slightly dryish tannins. Good length with aftertaste of dark cherries, a touch of anise, some meaty characters and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
