2011 Domaine Dupre Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with transparent crimson hue. The nose shows good lift with perfumed top notes of dark cherries intermixed with violets followed by some toasty cedar, earthiness and spice. Light across the palate in terms of both weight and mouthfeel, flavours of dark cherries and ripe strawberries are followed by some subtle meaty cedar, light earthiness and spice on the back palate. Dry finish with very finely structured tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, meaty cedar and spice.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
