Tasting note: Centuries old, nowadays Glen Garioch makes largely unpeated malt for Beam Suntory. This is a typical example; wonderfully full and oily on the nose, even a little waxy with scents of hay bail, poached pears and honey. It's juicy and full in the mouth, then grassy-fresh and spicy through the medium long finish. 663 bottles from a Bourbon barrel. 46% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
