2010 Roger Sabon Chateauneuf du Pape Reserve

Opaque dark purple black tinged colour with a crimson purple hue. The nose shows good perfumed lift with black raspberry scents intermixed with hints of incense and liquorice followed by some black cherries, meatiness and spice. Medium bodied the palate features rich black cherry and black raspberry flavours over some liquorice, meaty characters and spice. Solid well built but very fine grained tannins. Long black cherry, liquorice, dried meats and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 6-8 years.
