The Jobard's own and run eight hectares of vines spread throughout Monthelie and Meursault. A small negociant business was started in 2003 to supplement the estate’s production. All the wines are made from purchased grapes that are treated exactly as the estate wines. Charles’ son Remi is now in charge of the operation, and he is regarded by many as a rising star of the region, his wines described as "clean, pure and modern in the best sense". Low yields and strict bunch selection ensures that only the best grapes make it into the winery. New oak is used in moderation.

Remi Jobard's 'entry level' 2009 Bourgogne pours a brilliant, pale straw colour with greenish tinge around the edges and watery hue. The nose displays aromas of white peach, nectarine, light toast, a hint of nougat and spice. Medium weight the palate delivers impressive richness and mouthfeel for a Bourgogne. Flavours of white peach, biscuit and spice followed by some lingering, nutty, cashew like characters on the back palate. Clean dry finish. Long cashew, biscuit, spice and hazelnut aftertaste.
