2009 Domaine La Barroche Terroir Chateauneuf Du Pape

Deep dark crimson red colour with mauve dark red hue. Perfumed aromas of black cherries, dark raspberries and lavender followed by some liquorice and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate is filled with flavours of black raspberries, liquorice and black cherries followed by a touch of meaty earth and a spicy back palate. Slightly dryish but otherwise velvet smooth tannins. Long ripe generous aftertaste of black raspberry, liquorice, meaty earth and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years (2017-2018).
Alc 15.4%
