Opaque black dark red colour with deep very dark red hue. Aromas of liquorice, blackberry and dark raspberry are to the fore showing good intensity followed by some confectionary and light spice. Full and rich the possesses opulent liquorice flavours alongside some confectionary, ripe blackberry, spice and a touch of earthiness. Velvet smooth tannins with plenty of depth and a long rich liquorice, confectionary, blackberry, earth and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
