2008 Domaine Bouchard Pere et Fils Meursault Les Gouttes D'Or Premier Cru

Depending on the profile of the vintage, maturation is carried out for 8 to 12 months in French oak barrels, with a proportion of new barrels that may be up to 15%.

Brilliant, pale straw colour with slight greenish tinge around the edges and watery hue. The nose displays a refined aromatic profile of biscuit, nougat, delicate white peach, cashew and a hint of honeycomb. The palate possesses excellent intensity, depth and richness whilst maintaining a sense of elegance. Mouthfilling flavours of white peach, cashew and biscuit are followed by a touch of nougat with a spicy back palate. Clean dry finish with good acid structure. Long aftertaste of white peach, spice and cashew with a hint of hazelnut emerging on the very tail of the finish.
