2008 Carn Mor Strictly Limited Glen Elgin 11 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

There's a minor cult following among malt aficionados for Glen Elgin. It's a lovely 'old fashioned' style, backed up by high quality oak. This one has a fabulous deep colour due to it being matured in three PX sherry hogsheads. Yielding 1055 bottles at high strength, the price is tempting! Carn Mor describe the whisky as being bold in texture with warm caramel and sweet stewed fruits drying towards the end. 47.5% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
