2007 Red Edge Degree Shiraz

Included in this Shiraz is 6% Mourvedre to soften texture and 3% Riesling to enhance the wines aromatic profile. Opaque black dark red colour with deep crimson red hue. Aromas of liquorice allsorts, blackberry and confectionary. Full bodied generous palate flavours of ripe blackberry, black plum and confectionary with a very spicy overlay which persists onto the back palate. Fine grained, slightly chalky, but balanced tannins with long aftertaste of spice, liquorice and confectionary.
