2007 Domaine de Nizas Coteaux de Languedoc

Produced from a blend of Syrah, Mourvedre and Grenache. Totally opaque black crimson colour with very deep crimson black hue. The nose exhibits scents of dark plums, black raspberry and a touch of liquorice followed by some meaty characters and a hint of spice as an end note. Medium weight the palate delivers quite generous flavours of blackberry, liquorice and spice with a touch of some smoked meat earth like characters on the back palate. Elegant mouthfeel. Fine grained tannins with aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice, smoked meat and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
