Tasting note: [Cask 1969-6002] Ever reliable, this pale gold, bourbon matured Glen Moray showcases the Summery / fruity style that typifies this distillery. Pear and ripe apples as well as hints of pineapple pudding, vanilla and candlewax on the nose; Superbly balanced uncut with a crisp malty middle, then juicy, fruity and spicy to finish with citrus oils and delicate astringency through the aftertaste. Requires minimal water. 51.4% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered. 252 bottles.

Notes from Claxtons... Aromas from Vanilla custard, apple crumble and cinder toffee. Rich and full bodied with cinnamon, orange zest and a hint of barrel char to finish. One for the rainy summer evenings.
