2007 Cadenheads Small Batch Fettercairn 11 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Despite being founded in 1824, Fettercairn never really made a mark on the single malt world until very recently. The Australian importer admits, "I never really was a great fan of this distillery in the past until Cadenheads got hold of some super casks a few years ago. Thankfully today, even the official bottlings are on song."

Cadenheads notes read: "Muscovado sugar. Strawberry yogurt, raisin butter, figs, and peaches." Sounds sweet and clean, not like the old Fetters'. Three x Buorbon hogsheads yielded 846 bottles at 56.7% Alc./Vol.
