Notes from Adelphi... Drawn from a refill sherry butt, faded bronze in colour and showing moderate beading. The nose opens with a light whiff of sulphur followed by Camp Coffee, espresso martini, porcini mushroom, miso, green tomatoes and crème caramel. The earthy, savoury palate is swimming with fennel fronds, liquorice, Bovril, brown sugar and mushroom stock. A lengthy, luscious finish. 59.2% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered. 363 bottles.
