2006 Domaine Confuron-Cotetidot Gevrey-Chambertin

Semi translucent, crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. Perfumed aromas of dark cherries, intermixed with violets, followed by some game, cedar and spice notes. Lighter bodied the palate delivers flavours of dark cherries followed by some meaty anise like characters finishing with some spicy earth on the back palate. Dryish fine grained tannins with aftertaste of dark cherry, spice and meaty, earth like characters.
