2002 Penfolds Thomas Hyland Shiraz

A well made full bodied wine. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of spice, stewed fruit, liquorice and plum. The palate shows excellent balance of components, with flavours of spice, liquorice, plum and mocha emerging. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance. Long aftertaste of liquorice, mocca, spice and black pepper.
