1999 Renato Ratti Nebbiolo D'Alba 'Orchetti Cru' Doc DOC

The colour is very advanced with brick red and tawny hue. The nose is advanced, with notes of stewed fruit, mushrooms, truffle and varnish evident. The palate fruit is virtually all dried out with truffle, earth and leather flavours over a very distinct varnish background which persists into the aftertaste. Firmish, dry tannins.
