1997 Jim Barry McRae Wood Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque brick red colour. Lifted nose of plum, cedar, violets, mixed spice and blackcurrants. The palate has good weight and depth with peppery blackcurrant and liquorice flavours and a earthy background. Excellent balance, fine grained tannins, followed by long plum, confectionary and blackcurrant aftertaste. Cellar 4-5 years.
